While we don't know if Cytori even has 6 months left this Presidential suggestion for the SEC to investigate would certainly leave investors even further in the dark !!!!
I would be firmly against it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trump has one big problem in getting this through, Strozk’s wife is an SEC director and I don’t exactly see her in a very cooperative mood.

Chump could give two shits about SEC reporting requirements. This is his way of keeping attention on himself and away from all the other crap about him on the back pages. Its a bad idea. Gives insiders a longer runway to unload stock without all info out there.

No politics please.

Anyway- I agree with Hedge. Sounds ludicrous. We need more transparency and not less, especially on the short side.

I was with Alcoa for over 20 years and at the end of that ride, since being at the front-end of the closing cycle, had to close the books in 2 days. No problem, if you have the systems in place -even with hundreds of subs running in a consolidated close and reporting 6 days after month-end on a corporate level.
Same thing should apply to other aspects of the financial world.

Board moderator and Site-owner. I still regret the day I started analysing the prospects of MacroPore (now Cytori) back in 2004- a left-over from the tech-bubble at that time from the century change in my portfolio- and became addicted to Cytori´s fat cell technology.

Just for the record, I believe that quarterly reporting should absolutely continue, but that quarterly guidance should be reconsidered (particularly since it is not legally required).

This is almost becoming as entertaining as the Yahoo MB however, I suspect Fas will do a much better job in policing his board before it becomes totally out of control.

B-7, are you serious? - this board is far from being totally out of control - Fas does a fine job!

I agree, Fas does a very fine job in keeping things under control and love his board. As far as your other points, I’ll take that under consideration the next time you and WST call each other stupid.
