It is unclear how relevant this is to Cytori. Would take much more work for me to try and figure out and there are more pressing matters for Cytori to be concerned about it now. Just saw it and posted it. If the company gets out of its hole, one day it certainly could be relevant.
My pretty sophisticated guess on the patent is, that it has no relevance to Cytori whatsoever.
Mind you that is the nice thing of cultured brews- you can take plastic adherent stromal cells from SVF and culture them, take some types out and add again some other cell types which are in principal NOT stromal cells, in getting your own patentable brew. I do know that Cellerix had a special department for Tregs cells- Cellerix and Tigenix merged about 4-5 years ago.
In principle many Companies can go through that process and diversify themselves.
